I gave my life to Jesus on August 26, 2023, and a lot has changed since Jesus started His sanctification process with me.

There are many reasons and ideas behind starting this blog, but the main one is simple: I love writing, I love overthinking, and I love inspiring and lifting people up. I always did, but now that I can point people to Jesus through it, it feels like the missing piece of the puzzle.
I’m not someone who says they have a love-hate relationship with social media, because I actually really enjoy creating content and connecting with people. The only thing I don’t like is that there’s barely any space left for long writings. That’s just not the concept of those apps anymore. Everything has to capture someone within seconds. People can also be very hateful on there and react with two brain cells. They think they know you because you post something that looks personal, while in reality it’s often far from it.
That’s why I decided to start blogging, to really lay it all out. And maybe no one will read it. Maybe a few people will. I honestly don’t know.
When I came to faith, and I imagine it’s the same for many of you, you’re not only stepping into a whole new world (*hears the lyrics of Aladdin*), you’re literally lost. I knew Jesus was the truth. I knew I wanted to pursue this path. But where do you even start?

It didn’t only mean stopping bad behavior. It meant new friends, new thinking patterns, adjusting my language, the bars I went to, my routines, the language I used, everything changed.
And not because the Bible is just a set of rules like false religions make it seem. No. It’s because you suddenly come to the realization that the life you were living leads to absolute hell. It’s not fruitful. It may be fun, yes, but it will never end well. You cannot convince me otherwise.
And at that moment, I didn’t know where to start or where to go. I didn’t know anyone online sharing information about faith like this. It also wasn’t as “popular” yet as it is now, where you suddenly see so many people publicly coming to faith.
So basically, that’s why I’m going to blog and create a website: to share all the things I’ve found out over the past few years, along with many other things, because I have a lot of ideas lined up for you.
One thing I do want to point out: do not take my words as absolute truth. Always search for yourself in Scripture. Ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. And because I’m also still in a learning process and displaying my journey and growth on the internet, I will make mistakes. I will have revelations or understandings that over time may deepen or even change.
But in all of that, we are all pilgrims walking each other home.
Love always,
Charlotte
